NetApp, (NASDAQ: NTAP) announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named George Kurian, chief executive officer, and Bill Lipsin, vice president of Global Channel, to its 2016 list of Top 100 Executives. This annual list recognizes leaders from the technology industry who have played an integral role in shaping today’s IT channel, whether by driving huge cultural shifts, creating rich new opportunities or forging innovative new routes to success.

As one of CRN’s “Most Influential”, Kurian is transforming and streamlining the business in order to align the company’s resources to its strategic opportunities and be more agile and focused in its response to the rapidly changing market. Meanwhile, Lipsin’s focus on creating a multi-channel strategy that encompasses the changing customer needs for data management and partners’ evolving business models has led him to be recognized in CRN’s “Sales Leader” category. His investment in enhancing partner enablement has led to a growth in NetApp’s partner community and expansion of its product portfolio.
